Your tax deductible gift will provide a valuable theatre experience to our students and educators.
You can support EdTA through the following campaigns:
Gifts to the Annual Fund support EdTA where they are most needed. These gifts embody the mission of EdTA and support our programs to assist underserved and disadvantaged students and schools, as well as educational programs, teacher professional development, and advocacy and research efforts.
Each year EdTA and its chapters award over $200,000 in scholarships and grants to college-bound theatre students intending to major in theatre education, the performing arts, technical theatre, or communications. Scholarships take into account academic merit, financial need, and personal attributes including Thespian troupe involvement and leadership.
A nationally scalable pilot program, JumpStart Theatre builds sustainable theatre arts programs in underserved middle schools that don’t have theatre teachers or programs, ensuring that students have access to the twenty-first century skills that theatre provides.
Send a Troupe
These grants cover the registration and travel expenses for troupes who have never been financially able to attend the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska, a life-changing experience with world-class performances and individual event competitions, as well as college auditions and workshops.
