Minimal month, maximum deadline

It just figures that February, the shortest month of the year, would also be the one with the most deadlines. If you want to be a part of all the good things that are happening at the Educational Theatre Association this spring and summer, there is probably something you have to do next month.

Here’s a rundown of February deadlines and important dates.

February 1
Junior Festival registration (materials due at Home Office)
Playworks submissions (postmark deadline, midnight)
Musicalworks submissions (e-mail deadline, midnight)
Doug Finney Festival Grant applications (materials due at Home Office)
John Marshall/ITO Scholarship applications (materials due at Home Office)

February 8
Send a Troupe grant application deadline (materials due at Home Office).  Donations will continue to be accepted.

February 15
EdTA Hall of Fame nominations, Administrator’s Award nominations, and Outstanding School Award applications (materials due at Home Office)
ITS Inspirational Theatre Educator Award, Honorary Thespian of the Year Award, and Spirit of Thespis Award nominations (materials due at Home Office)

March 1
Democracyworks essay contest submissions (e-mail deadline, midnight)
