Getting to ITF
ITF takes place on the beautiful campus of Indiana University in Bloomington. Bloomington is the seventh-largest city in Indiana and is known as the “Gateway to Scenic Southern Indiana.”
Transportation and Lodging
The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is located 46 miles or approximately an hour’s drive from the IU campus. Air Canada, Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, and United all fly to and from the airport.
Go Express Travel, 800-589-6004, offers hourly shuttle service to and from the Indianapolis airport for a $24 per person, per trip fee.

Please note: ITF participants are encouraged to maintain health and travel insurance. Directors should confirm this before accepting the responsibility of chaperoning a student at ITF.
If you’re staying in IU’s residence halls, you may park on campus near your assigned hall at no charge.
ITF has partnered with the Hilton Garden Inn, 812-331-1335, to provide special rates should you choose to stay off campus. The rate is available until May 21.

Event registration is located at the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center at 275 N. Jordan Avenue. (View an IU campus map) Registration parking is located at the nearby IU Auditorium. Park in front of or on the side of the auditorium and walk alongside the building to Neal-Marshall. Please do not unload passengers or luggage there.
The ITF registration desk is open Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. For troupes arriving after 9 p.m. on Monday, residence hall assignments will be posted on the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center lobby doors. Late-arriving troupes can check in at the 24-hour desk in their residence hall. The checkout time is Sunday by 10 a.m.
The troupe director and one student should report to the registration desk in the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center lobby to pick up your ITF materials. Registration packets will be distributed only to troupe directors. Students arriving before their troupe director will be asked to wait.
