Student Leadership Program
Interested in taking on a leadership role at your troupe, chapter, or national level? Consider participating in the International Thespian Festival’s Student Leadership Program. You’ll attend leadership workshops taught by your International Thespian Officers (ITOs) and participate in electing next year’s ITOs. Student Leadership Program workshops take place Tuesday through Friday during the first workshop session of each day. Preregistration for this program is required, and space is limited.
International Thespian Officers
ITOs are Thespian leaders who represent the student voice in the Educational Theatre Association and International Thespian Society. These officers work year-round with EdTA staff, chapter leaders, and Thespians from across the globe to nurture strong student leaders, advocate for the arts, fundraise for accessibility, and create the best experience possible for students.
Inducted Thespians who are currently sophomores or juniors in good academic standing are eligible to apply. ITO elections take place during the Student Leadership Program at ITF.
Are you a Thespian interested in running for an ITO position? View eligibility requirements and apply online beginning February 4. Questions can be directed to ITO@schooltheatre.org.
