A dance and theatre educator for over 30 years, Robin received her A. A. in Music from Citrus College and her B.A. in Dance from Cal. State Long Beach. As a music major at Citrus College, Robin toured Europe and Hawaii first as a member of the world renowned Citrus Singers, and then as one of its choreographers. She served as Artistic Director and founder for the dance company Efface which performed professionally throughout the communities of Los Angeles and Orange County while choreographing for local high schools and colleges in the area. After graduating with high honors from Cal. State Long Beach, Robin went on to graduate school at U.C.L.A. studying Dance Therapy.
Robin has worked and sought to inspire dancers and actors from a myriad of ages and abilities. She has taught dance and theatre at the elementary, middle, high school, college and professional levels winning several awards including the Inland Valley Award for Best Choreographer for her work on Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and most recently MSJC’s production of Urinetown. She was also awarded Mt. San Jacinto College Associate Faculty of the Year in 2005.
Robin who is an advocate for arts education and expression received her CTE credential in Performing Arts and her professional diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy at the Expressive Arts Institute in San Diego. She has served on the board of the Dance Theatre Collective of Southern California and presently teaches theatre, music and dance to students in grades K-12 at River Springs Charter School in Temecula. Robin still serves as an adjunct faculty member for Mt. San Jacinto College.
