Mike Rock is an actor, improviser, v/o narrator and teaching artist based in Los Angeles. TV credits include Black-ish, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, After Lately, The Mentalist, Monk, Conan O’Brien, voice of NFL Replay and voice of Chelsea Lately on E! as well as many commercials. He has been performing & teaching improv including at EdTA /ITS events for 30 years. He's a Main Company and Faculty member of Impro Theatre L.A. Previously, he was an improv faculty member at The Nerdist School Los Angeles. He was artistic director, producer and a co-founder of Madison WI Theatresports, founder, artistic director, producer of the New York City ComedySportz. He served as president of the Comedy League Of America chain for 10 years and co-created, produced & performed sketch comedy with The Bert Fershners in NYC, L.A. Montreal, Edinburgh, Aspen, Austin and on MTV, VH-1 & Comedy Central tv, and the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Mike has taught and performed at many individual high schools and colleges including NYU, Fordham, UCONN, Rutgers, University of Wisconsin, University of Pennsylvania, Iowa State, RPI, Holy Cross, state thespian and theatre conferences across the country including in CA, CO, GA, IA. IN, IN, KS, MO, NE, NM, OH, NH, NY, PA, UT, VA, WI, He has presented improv-inspired team building, leadership & communication workshops for many clients including: General Electric, Reebok, Trek Bicycle Co, The American Girl Doll Company, The Wisconsin Bar Association, WI Chiropractic Association, The EdTA Conference, American Family Insurance and more.
