I came to EdTA from Arena Stage, where I was part of the communications team that opened the Mead Center. Before that, I was publications director for the Dramatists Guild, where I created "The Dramatist" magazine and coordinated the Jonathan Larson Fellowship for Stephen Sondheim. I've also contributed to the book "In Their Company" and had work cited in "Best American Essays." My produced stage writing includes the musical short "Here We Are" and the full-lengths "The Split-Aparts" and "Raven Brings Light."

My first professional theater experience was as a production intern on the Broadway tryout of "Quilters" at Pittsburgh Public. I made my Off-Broadway acting debut as Pish-Tush in a revival of "The Mikado" and my directing debut with the original musical "Baby Buddha" at the Zipper Theatre. Along the way, I was founding artistic director of Music in a Box and a classroom assistant for Uta Hagen – and if you listen closely, you can hear me belting out the bass lines on the "Bucket List" soundtrack and the live "Wall to Wall Sondheim" concert recording.

In addition to being a musical theater fanatic, reference book junkie, and electronica enthusiast.
