My favorite theater memory was my freshmen year during the production of 9 to 5. We were doing the hospital scene and the gurney was brought on with the dead body (which was just an extra). However during this particular run-through it was not. When the blanket was pulled from over the body, it was reviled to be our director, Mr. Hawkins. I have never laughed so hard before because it was so unpredicted. He then yelled at us for not staying in character. I will always have that as my favorite theater memories.

My favorite memory (as a director) was in a performance of "Dracula". It was the big climactic moment when they've just "killed" the human Drac and he falls into the coffin. The stake is then flung out by the actor who is the monster half of Drac and he emerges from the coffin so he too can be killed. In one performance, when the stake was flung out of the coffin, it went flying to the edge of the stage and the actors lost track of it. After wrestling monster Drac into the coffin they grabbed the hammer and "Use the back of this. It's just like a stake".., and in went the handle of the hammer. It was hysterical... AND we caught it on film.  :D
