Check with area high schools to see if any of them have recently gotten new uniforms, and still have their old ones.

Julie, how many do you need? Are you using HS, MS or ES sized kids?

I had 101 students ages 7 to 18 years old in my production. I ordered (bulk!) white long sleeve tee shirts and had a red/gold/black design printed on the front that looked like a band uniform jacket. All students provided their own white pants (of any kind - the audience never noticed they were all different) and each child built their own hat in a Saturday workshop out of shiny card stock, yellow construction paper (stars), and red yarn (tassel). It looked very impressive and cost very little. All the students bought the tee shirt as their show shirt, and those who were not in the band could also buy one as a show shirt. It worked great and cost very little per person.
