Has anyone considered doing the 2017 musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812? It looks amazing but incredibly complicated!

The musical is fantastic, but it's not yet in publication. Once it goes into publication, I'm very interested to see how theatres conceptualize the show, since the Broadway production was done in environmental staging with a highly modified theater space.

The off-Broadway production was very immersive; performed as a dinners show, in and around the audience. The venue was a large tent.

I can imagine it being done in a school cafeteria.

Samuel French seems to hold the rights.

Possibly they are not available yet ... but the script is ...

I'm so happy to see the excitement building for NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812! At the moment, this title is unavailable for licensing, as we are still determining its release.

In the meantime, Toni is correct: the script is available on the Samuel French website. Feel free to check it out, and we'll keep you posted on updates!

I love the prologue for this.    Great song and very smart.
