Have a question or idea about EdTA scholarships? Your EdTA board of directors will host a virtual listening session Thursday, September 9 at 7 p.m. ET focused on this topic. The session is open to all adult members; if you’d like to participate, sign up by September 8 to receive a meeting link.
This is one of an ongoing series of sessions where EdTA members can share ideas and thoughts with the EdTA board. Sessions on other topics will be hosted throughout the year. President Helen Duranleau-Brennan, and Vice President Krista Carson Elhai facilitate the meetings. Other board members and EdTA staff will attend to ensure specific program feedback and suggestions are heard by the people who manage the programs, and that members’ voices are heard.
“Our goal with the listening sessions is to create a forum for open communication between the board and our members,” said Duranleau-Brennan. “The board is committed to ensuring a strong connection with our members, and collaborative conversations are an important way to do that.”
If you’d like to suggest a topic for a future listening session, you may do so by emailing Duranleau-Brennan.
