Whether your return to school involves in-person or virtual classes and productions, or hybrid work, EdTA has you covered with invaluable resources packed full of information, tips, and tools. In Theatre Educator Pro you’ll find:

  • the Resources for Creating Online Learning page that includes top 10 tips for teaching theatre online, complete with a guide written by educators like you who have been there, plus ideas for content which translates well to an online or hybrid teaching situation;
  • “Click to Teach” project-based units that include everything you need to teach and are written in a student friendly voice perfect for independent assignments. Using the web page as a teaching hub, you can begin in person with lesson one on Monday and switch to virtual by Tuesday;
  • the Resources for Creating Virtual Performances page that has all you need about virtual productions including tips for licensing issues, charts that help you choose tools and make decisions, and tutorials for all of the most frequently used aps and programs to make a virtual production possible.

TE Pro’s Fall Webinars Focus on Current Critical Issues

Now more than ever the wellbeing of our students is emerging around the critical topics of racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion.  Walking hand in hand with these important issues are the need to address Social and Emotional Learning skills across the curriculum.  With this need in mind this fall’s webinars will provide information and support on these critical issues.
