A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Emma earned her BFA from Boston University in 2007. Majoring in Theatre Arts, with a focus in Physical Acting, Emma's theatrical training has encompassed everything from Shakespeare to Shephard.
Since her graduation, Emma has lived, performed, and worked on Martha's Vineyard, in Boston, New York City, Dublin, Ireland and Cincinnati. She has performed in various mediums spanning from stage to screen.
Taking part in various artistic genres, Emma's interests are far from centralized in performance - though it is her core. She is a great lover of collaborative theatre, has roots in the dance world, and is currently writing a novel (and most likely, a few poems). She has worked as a lounge singer and has often been accused of being a music fiend.
Emma has been teaching acting for five years, starting as a teacher's assistant at BU and carrying on to teach privately and in the workshop setting. In the fall on 2009 she joined the staff of Cincinnati's Musical Arts Center as a Drama and Creative Writing Coach. Her students have performed on Broadway and in several major motion pictures; have been finalist in, and winners of, Cincinnati's Overature Awards; and are attending such esteemed institutions as Northwestern University, University of Evansville, Pace University, Point Park University, and American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), Los Angeles.
In the summer of 2012, Emma joined the staff of the Educational Theatre Association as their Advertising and Business Development Manager - thus embracing yet another side, the Non-For-Profit Market-ress.
